Airlines reach agreement on merger
After a year of merger talks, US Airways and American Airlines have reached an agreement that would combine the companies, creating the world's biggest carrier.

After a year of merger talks, US Airways and American Airlines have reached an agreement that would combine the companies, creating the world's biggest carrier. The merger is expected to be announced Thursday following the approval of the two airlines' boards of directors.
