Sullivan & Cromwell advises on $1.6 billion sale of cable operations in the western U.S.
Sullivan & Cromwell LLP represented Cablevision Systems Corp. in its intent to sell its Optimum West broadband operations to a subsidiary of Charter Communications Inc. for $1.625 billion. The purchase will add more than 600,000 homes in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Utah to Charter's current services.
