MTA settles personal injury case for $3.5 million

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority finalized a $3.5 million personal injury settlement with a 28-year-old woman.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority finalized a $3.5 million dollar settlement Monday with a 28-year-old woman who sued the agency in a personal injury case. The plaintiff, Jenny Lopez, was injured when an MTA bus driver struck her as she was walking with her child in a crosswalk across from Union Station in Los Angeles.
