Another 9th Circuit judge assigned to climate change case
Judge Ronald M. Gould was assigned Wednesday to sit on the panel of a closely-watched climate change case pending at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after the death of Senior Circuit Judge Betty B. Fletcher created a vacancy.

Judge Ronald M. Gould was assigned Wednesday to sit on the panel of a closely-watched climate change case pending at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after the death of Senior Circuit Judge Betty B. Fletcher created a vacancy. Senior Circuit Judge A. Wallace Tashima had been assigned to replace Fletcher on the three-judge panel last week, but he later recused himself.
