San Francisco-based Practice Fusion Inc., an electronic medical records company, named Riyad A. Omar as its first general counsel. Omar joins from digital content aggregator NewsRight LLC, where he was vice president and principal legal officer. Prior to this, Omar was associate general counsel of business governance for the Associated Press.
