William Coblentz, a prominent lawyer and civic leader who shaped the San Francisco firm Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass, died early Monday. He was 88.
Coblentz handled a variety of legal issues in a career that spanned more than 50 years, often representing high-profile clients on issues ranging from real estate to divorce proceedings.
