Lawsuit coming over medical marijuana show idea

A would-be reality producer with an award-winning idea is suing Discovery Communications Inc. after a highly similar version of her idea premiered on the network earlier this month.

LOS ANGELES - The Discovery Channel's brand-new reality series "Weed Wars," which follows daily life at the Harborside Health Center medicinal marijuana dispensary in Oakland, is about to face a war of its own.
