Proposed rule would require disclosure of manufacturer-doctor relationships

A new rule would require manufacturers of drugs and medical devices to report all payments or other transfers of value they make to doctors and hospitals.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services proposed a new rule on Wednesday that would require manufacturers of drugs and medical devices paid for by the federal and state health care programs to report all payments or other transfers of value they make to doctors and hospitals.
