LOS ANGELES - Veteran Superior Court Judge Loren Miller Jr., whose legal career spanned nearly five decades, has died.
Miller, son of a famed civil rights lawyer, retired 14 years ago, only to return a year later as a full-time assigned judge, died of emphysema Monday at Kaiser Permanente hospital in West Los Angeles. He was 74.
