Salaries spike for UC in-house counsel
Chief counsel at six University of California campuses have received approval for salary hikes ranging between 6 and 21 percent more than their current rate of pay.

Chief counsel at six University of California campuses have received approval for salary hikes ranging between 6 and 21 percent. Though the system-wide raises for executive staff drew angry protest from some students and faculty, legal industry observers said the in-house lawyers' salaries remain far below market rate.
