Artists' lawsuit is a challenge
A group of street artists asserting federal "moral rights" over works that were destroyed and thrown out by the L.A. Live Ritz Carlton could face an uphill legal battle.

LOS ANGELES - Three street artists whose original artwork was on display in a Ritz Carlton penthouse during the 2011 Los Angeles Art Show at L.A. Live say hotel staff destroyed and threw out their work, breaching a contract and violating their so-called "moral rights."
