ZipRealty settles agents' wage claims

ZipRealty will pay more than $580,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by the state labor commissioner, alleging the company failed to pay wages and overtime to its real estate agents in Bakersfield.

ZipRealty will pay more than $580,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by the state labor commissioner, alleging the company failed to pay wages and overtime to its real estate agents in Bakersfield.

Four agents will share $430,202 in wages, interest and damages. The state's Division of Labor Standards Enforcement will receive $155,866 in attorney fees and expenses.
