Ex-Lawyer Gets Probation For Theft

The Studio City man embezzled $1.4 million from two clients. He was sentenced to three years' probation and eight months' home detention on tax evasion charges.

LOS ANGELES A former Studio City attorney and accountant who embezzled more than $1.4 million from two clients' trust funds he oversaw as a conservator was sentenced Monday to three years' probation and eight months' home detention for failing to pay federal taxes on his ill-gotten gains.
