Jones Day, Wilson Sonsini Aid Deal

Jones Day counseled Sunnyvale-based software and chipmaker Zoran Corp. in its agreement to purchase Plano, TX-based Microtune Inc. for $166 million. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Microtune in the transaction.

Jones Day counseled Sunnyvale-based software and chipmaker Zoran Corp. in its agreement to purchase Plano, TX-based Microtune Inc. for $166 million. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Microtune in the transaction.

Under the agreement, Zoran will pay $2.92 in cash per share for Microtune's common stock. The purchase price is approximately $84 million excluding debt.
