LETTER TO THE EDITOR

I come to bury Bill Lerach, not to praise him. The evil that men do live after them but the good if often interred with their bones.

John Sullivan, as the president of the Civil Justice Association of California, which is a nonprofit association representing businesses, professionals and local governments, cheers the demise of Bill and the Unfair Competition Law, while I can only cry ("A Slow End to 'Kwikset'" March 25).
