A quirky trademark fight between two companies, both calling themselves Sand Hill Advisors, has ended with a victory by, uh, Sand Hill Advisors.

A quirky trademark fight between two companies, both calling themselves Sand Hill Advisors, has ended with a victory for, uh, Sand Hill Advisors.

The winner is a Los Altos-based commercial real estate company that has gone by the name Sand Hill Advisors LLC since 1999 and chose the name in part because its founders are named Bert Sandell and Albert Hill.
