Few Clues in O'Donnell Case

A Ninth Circuit appeals panel played its cards close to the vest Wednesday, not giving any clear signs during oral arguments whether or not it would reverse a lower court's dismissal of campaign finance law charges against prominent Los Angeles trial lawyer Pierce O'Donnell.

PASADENA - A federal appeals panel played its cards close to the vest Wednesday, not giving any clear signs during oral argument where it stood on a lower court's dismissal of campaign finance charges against prominent Los Angeles trial lawyer Pierce O'Donnell.

However, the most pointed comment of the day seemed to bolster the prosecution and undercut the defense.
