Northern District Gets New Magistrate
Professor Donna M. Ryu of UC Hastings College of the Law will take the bench in the Oakland federal courthouse on March 1.
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District on Wednesday announced the selection of Professor Donna M. Ryu of UC Hastings College of the Law as a U.S. magistrate judge. Ryu, 49, will take her place on the bench in Oakland March 1. She is filling a vacancy created by the recent confirmation of Judge Richard G. Seeborg as a U.S. District judge.
