Lead Plaintiff Can Choose Counsel
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday rebuked a federal trial judge who took it upon himself to reject the plaintiffs' choice for lead counsel.

SAN FRANCISCO - The lead plaintiffs in a class action have the right to choose the lead counsel, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals held Thursday in rebuking a federal trial judge who took it upon himself to reject the plaintiffs' choice and substitute another firm.
