Federal Courts Are an Overlooked Part of Bush's Sad Legacy

With all the attention given other issues — Iraq, tax breaks for the wealthy, the financial crisis — our federal courts are a largely overlooked part of the sad legacy Bush will leave behind.

On Monday, when President Bush spoke about our federal courts to the Cincinnati Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, he touted his eight-year record of appointing judges - especially the newest members of the Supreme Court, Samuel Alito and John Roberts.

Here are some people he did not mention.

David Wisniewski. A publisher sent him some books he didn't order and threatened to damage his credit rating...
