What a wonderful article you did on Judge Ron Kreber on Sept. 4 ("Finding Answers (in Five Minutes")). "Officer" Ron Kreber came to Loyola High School in 1968 to recruit for the LAPD Law Enforcement Explorer Program. I heard him speak and joined immediately. He was my "scoutmaster" and mentor. I went off to college, the Police Academy and law school. I followed his career and saw his appointment to the bench as a positive sign...
