Securities Lawyer Leaves McDermott for Reed Smith

James Sanders, a former regional director of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles, is decamping from McDermott Will & Emery's Century City office to join Reed Smith.

LOS ANGELES - James Sanders, a former regional director of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles, is decamping from McDermott Will & Emery's Century City office to join Reed Smith.

Sanders, who also spent time as a federal prosecutor in both Chicago and Los Angeles, steps into a major role as Reed Smith's most prominent white collar defense lawyer on the West Coast.
