Ex-Employees Sue Thelen's Ex-Partners

Laid-off employees of San Francisco-based law firm Thelen have filed a second class action demanding that the firm's ex-partners and the firms that the hired the ex-partners pay back wages and other expenses.

SAN FRANCISCO - After San Francisco-based law firm Thelen dissolved last fall and laid off hundreds of employees, several of them filed a class action against the firm in federal court alleging violations of state and federal labor laws.

Those employees went further late Monday when they filed a second class action against the firm's former partners and the new firms to which those partners took business....
