Top SoCal Firms: The More Things Change...

There was little movement within the top half of the Daily Journal's list of Southern California's largest firms this year. The numbers in these rankings reflect firms' headcounts as of Jan. 1, so the waves of layoffs that gained momentum during the first half of the year are not reflected in these figures. At the lower end of the list there were some shifts, illuminating which firms are beefing up their offices in Southern California and which are pulling back. We've tabulated Southern California's Top 20 firms, as well as the firms that grew — and shrank — the most.
