Jury Awards Shartsis Friese $1.3 Million

A federal jury handed down a verdict late Tuesday awarding San Francisco law firm Shartsis Friese more than $1.3 million for mistakes its retirement plan consultant made between 2000 and 2006.

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal jury awarded San Francisco law firm Shartsis Friese more than $1.3 million late Tuesday for mistakes its retirement plan consultant made between 2000 and 2006.

The 57-attorney firm sued JPMorgan Compensation and Benefit Strategies in 2007 for professional negligence.
