Alameda County public defenders and district attorneys are set to take big hits in a budget proposed Thursday by the county administrator's office that would slash jobs in both offices.

OAKLAND - Alameda County public defenders and district attorneys are set to take big hits in a budget proposed Thursday by the county administrator's office.
