Assemblyman Seeks Insurance Post

With two years until he's termed out of office, state Assemblyman Dave Jones has his eye on a new prize: state insurance commissioner.

SAN FRANCISCO - With two years until he's termed out of office, state Assemblyman Dave Jones has his eye on a new prize: state insurance commissioner.

On Thursday, Jones announced his intention to run for that office in 2010, a seat expected to be open with incumbent Steve Poizner having announced a run for governor.
