Court Won't Hear Three Circuit Cases
Satellite TV company Echostar Communications Corp. will have to pay $104 million in patent infringement damages to Alviso-based TiVo Inc. after the U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to hear its appeal.

WASHINGTON - Satellite TV company Echostar Communications Corp. will have to pay $104 million in patent infringement damages to Alviso-based TiVo Inc. after the U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to hear its appeal.
Echostar's appeal was one of hundreds rejected by the court on the first day of its 2008 term.
