Cooley Snags 15 Partners From Heller's Venture Law Group
Friday's announcement by Cooley Godward Kronish ended speculation over where some of the prominent members of the dissolving Heller Ehrman's VLG would land.

LOS ANGELES - Cooley Godward Kronish won a competitive bid for a major piece of Heller Ehrman's Venture Law Group, grabbing 15 partners from the dissolving San Francisco-based firm, Cooley announced Friday.
The coup includes Mark Weeks, the Silicon Valley partner who heads Heller's business department, and Venture Law Group co-founder Mark Medearis, also in Silicon Valley.
