LOS ANGELES - A 27-year veteran of the public defender's office died when he jumped in front of a Metrolink train as it left the Sylmar/San Fernando station, authorities said Thursday.
"All indications from the scene were that it was a suicide," San Fernando police Lt. Tony Ruelas said.
