Newport Faces Dueling Suits Over Rehabs
SANTA ANA - In January, some Newport Beach residents sued their hometown for adopting an ordinance they say is so feeble that, instead of helping, it creates "dangers" and "special risk." The plaintiffs, calling themselves Concerned Citizens of Newport Beach, seek injunctions, orders and $250 million.
