State Appeals Decision of EPA to Block Regulating Emissions
As promised, California has fired back at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for blocking the state's attempts to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles. In a lawsuit filed at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Wednesday, Attorney General Jerry Brown along with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the California Air Resources Board challenged the federal agency's recent decision to deny California's request to implement its own emissions law. California v.
