      Aspiring appellants must know which rulings are appealable in order to file a timely notice of appeal. The deadline for filing a notice of appeal from an appealable ruling is jurisdictional, so there is no margin for error. Laraway v. Pasadena Unified Sch. Dist., 98 Cal.App.4th 579 (2002).
