Colleagues Praise Interim U.S. Attorney; Replacement Waits in Wings
To hear it from judges, lawyers and academics, Scott Schools has done everything right as the temporary leader of the San Francisco U.S. attorney's office in the wake of Kevin Ryan's ouster. But Schools may be a short-timer if the White House goes ahead with a plan to nominate Joe Russoniello, who held the position during the Reagan era.
