No pinches were reported at The Irish American Bar Association’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon and Celebration as all attendees’ donned various shades of green. The event took place on Mar. 16 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in downtown Los Angeles. L.A. District Attorney Steve Cooley was keynote speaker at the event and shared a little about his own Irish heritage. The event also featured live Irish folk music, a performance from the O’Connor School of Irish Dancing, and Honorary Consul General of Ireland Finbar Hill, accompanied by singer Kris Colt, delighted the crowd with his rendition of “Danny Boy.” Guests were also treated to a bountiful feast of traditional Irish fare. -Connie Lopez
