A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday for the reopening of the downtown San Diego Law Library. The 121 year-old law library endured a yearlong renovation that included upgrades to the structure, new technologies and a relocation of its collection for better accessability. The library’s transformation included a $5 million renovation of its downtown branch. The renovation was made possible, in part, by a contribution from The Hervey Foundation of $1.6 million along with a $250, 000 matching grant.
