Elected Judges Among Eight Appointees
LOS ANGELES - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed eight new judges, four Democrats and four Republicans, to the bench Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed eight new judges, four Democrats and four Republicans, to the bench Wednesday.
Six of the judges had been elected to their posts in November, but the governor's appointments will allow them to start their assignments immediately rather than waiting until January.
