SACRAMENTO - Ralph "Chip" Putnam, a Fresno County Superior Court judge assigned to civil and criminal trials, will retire after 20 years on the bench.

SACRAMENTO - Ralph "Chip" Putnam, a Fresno County Superior Court judge assigned to civil and criminal trials, will retire after 20 years on the bench.
      Putnam, who turned 60 in October, will retire Dec. 15. He declined to comment about his future plans or his years on the bench.
