      The news flash from SanDisk Corp. recently was the announcement that it will acquire the Israeli flash memory leader, msystems, for approximately $1.55 billion. The two companies entered into definitive agreements on July 30 for the all stock transaction which will make msystems a wholly owned subsidiary of SanDisk.
