Panel Rebuffs Cardinal's Bid to Unseal Psychological Records

LOS ANGELES - A California appellate court has rebuffed Cardinal Roger Mahony's efforts to unseal confidential documents alleged victims of sexual abuse filed with their claims against the Catholic Church.

LOS ANGELES - A California appellate court has rebuffed Cardinal Roger Mahony's efforts to unseal confidential documents alleged victims of sexual abuse filed with their claims against the Catholic Church.
      The 2nd District Court of Appeal upheld a lower court ruling that found documents known as certificates of merit should remain under court seal.
