Advanced Micro Adds Chip Maker ATI to Block
SAN FRANCISCO - Advanced Micro Devices' proposed $5.4 billion acquisition of leading graphics chip maker ATI Technologies is a strategic deal that will add to the Sunnyvale company's platform, according to Latham & Watkins partner Kit Kaufman, who represented AMD in the deal.
