The final tally in the Imperial County election, too close to call five weeks ago, gives the victory to Superior Court Judge Barrett J. Foerster.
      Foerster edged out challenger Poli Flores Jr. by 449 votes. The judge captured 52.21 percent of the 17,527 votes cast, leaving Poli with 48.65 percent.
