Insurers Must Compensate Victims of Armenian Genocide

Fisher and Vartkes Yeghiayan - Eighty-nine years ago this month, on April 24, 1915, the Ottoman authorities arrested 250 political and intellectual leaders of the Armenian community in Turkey, launching the first genocide of the 20th century. This commemoration date falls closely after the Holocaust Yom Hashoah, memorializing the genocide of Jews under the Nazis some 25 years later.
