Paper Must Pay $3 Million for Libel
SAN BERNARDINO - A San Bernardino judge Friday awarded a sheriff's counselor $3 million for her claims that the publisher of a string of small weekly newspapers libeled her by printing stories saying she breached the confidentiality of her counseling sessions with sheriff's deputies.
