New Construction in Los Angeles Will Speed Equal Education
Forum Column - By Kevin Reed - Fifty years ago, the civil rights movement produced the victory that shattered the legal foundations of Jim Crow. By obtaining a unanimous ruling from the Supreme Court declaring that this nation's Constitution could no longer tolerate legally mandated segregation, the movement, and its lawyers, wrote the death sentence for this country's peculiar brand of apartheid.
