The Legal Marketing Association in Los Angeles and the Daily Journal held a seminar on May 31 to discuss how small firms can use media to grow a practice while abiding by market rules. James Ham, a partner at Pansky Markle Ham LLP who specializes in representing lawyers in State Bar proceedings, was among the panelists. The other panelists were: Jennifer Mir, practice development manager at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, Edvard Pettersson, legal news reporter for Bloomberg, and David Houston, editor of the Daily Journal. The event was moderated by Jonathan Fitzgarrald, chief marketing officer at Greenberg Glusker, and president of the LMA in Los Angeles.
