County Settles Gun Show Suit for $1.6 Million

LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles County officials have agreed to pay the promoter of the nation's largest gun show $1.6 million to settle the promoter's lawsuits challenging the 1999 ordinance that prohibited gun and ammunition sales on county property, lawyers said Thursday.
