California Program Leads Way With Money to Assist Victims
DENVER - The nation's first state-established victim-compensation program already is processing claims from Sept. 11 victims. California's Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board is processing 103 claims from 56 state residents who were directly affected by the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C.
