Dumping Books Sets Bad Precedent

Shafiroff - Two weeks ago, Los Angeles Unified School District officials removed 300 English- and Spanish-language copies of "The Meaning of the Holy Quran," a text and commentary on Islam's foundational work. The books, donated by a Los Angeles-based Muslim outreach organization, were removed after a school district history teacher complained that the book was anti-Semitic.
