Compton Election Decision Is Vulnerable, Experts Say

LOS ANGELES - Compton's new mayor may have already been sworn in, but that may not be the end of the mayor's race of 2001. Election law specialists say the decision of a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to overturn the election is so unusual that the decision - and the mayoralty - could be vulnerable on appeal.
